if only she could have moved in that snow suit, evelyn might have offered to help her mommy and daddy shovel the driveway. according to her measurements...it was waist deep!

what better place to visit on our girls' weekend at the beach than "lavender fields"in milton, delaware. the farm is located just outside of lewes on u.s. 9 and offers a great escape from the normal beach routine. after visiting the gift shop, we walked the farm and beautifully crafted meditation labrinth. i hope to benefit from the calming effects of sitting evelyn among the lavender plants. if you love all things lavender than this is a must visit!
if i remember correctly our first annual photo session (back in 2002 was it?) was shot with film. now don't i feel old! documenting each year photographically has become a wonderful family tradition for them as well as for me as i enjoy being with the children and seeing just how much they have grown.
what a gorgeous day for a fall photo shoot. funny how a few days of wind and rain makes one appreciate the warm sun that much more. the macmillan family and i took advantage of the uncanny november weather and headed out to longwood gardens for our annual shoot. next year aiden will have to share the spotlight with his younger sibling but for now he's still the star of the show.
i specialize in children and family portraiture. please contact the studio to learn more about my photography and the services that are available. i look forward to hearing from you!
