i'd say that shaye seemed to enjoy her grammie's famous 'cupcakes-in-a-cone' almost as much as her uncle patrick. happy 1st birthday to our favorite niece!
keep in mind that it's not too late to schedule a family portrait session in time for sending those holiday cards...and by family, i mean the furry kind too!
we saved the best for last...a limo tour of napa with stops at cakebread cellars, beaulieu vineyards, and grgich hills. good thing there wasn't time for a forth!
alcatraz. it was my third time visiting and i can't wait to go back. something about that place. the views from the island are breathtaking, which no doubt made it that much more devasting to be locked up on 'the rock.'
that night we checked out the scene over in the mission district. the mexican tradition know as 'el dia de los muertos' or 'day of the dead' celebrates the lives and new beginning of those loved ones who have passed on. andra was brave enough to dance with the scariest (and apparently hungriest too as he bit her finger!) skeleton around. yikes!
